where they have performances, activities, and events for the whole family.
This year's focus was on “Arts Along the Gulf Coast Highway,” with sights and sounds from East Texas and Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle. My favorite was dancing to the New Orleans funk of The Wild Magnolias Mardi Gras "Indians".

After we left the Kennedy Center we went to the Arts on Foot Festival with various artists and restaurant samples. I had ice cream and guacomole..yummy. We didn't take any pictures.
The festival was near the National Portrait Gallery so we decided to go in. Here is my picture with Toni Morrison (later we realized pictures are phohibited...oops).
