I also racked up on some goods. I got a new music CD written/arranged by an african american school teacher that will help me learn my ABC's. The Cheerio's company gave me free boxes of cheerio's and a cheerio bear. The nice business owner of Kip & Knoodle gave me a free hand puppet and safety strap cover which I loved.
I met Michelle Singletary, writer for the Washington Post's Color of Money and tv host of the same. (Mommy got a little financial advice from her as well). And guess who else I saw??

Thelma from Good Times who was there for a book signing (she hasn't aged a bit). Dad started to get one of his "hunger headaches" so we grabbed a bite to eat. While we were sitting at the table, a nice man who worked in the cafeteria said I reminded him of his daughters and gave me an order of french fries which I loved.
When we left the CBC we headed over to the Silver Spring Jazz Festival. There were LOTS of people and I loved the music especially the Marcus Johnson Project.

We wanted to stay for Spyro Gyra but it was getting late and we were all tired.
